Job Description:

We are working with a secondary school in Billericay to recruit a dedicated and passionate English Teacher for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic NQT looking to make a real impact in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Teach Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS5 experience would be an advantage).

•Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire students.

•Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.

•Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

•Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students’ development.

Requirements:

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

•Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

•Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and engage students.

•Commitment to the progress and well-being of all pupils.
