Job Title: Science Teacher (Until Christmas)

Location: Basildon, Essex

Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Length: Until Christmas 2024

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Basildon. This role is available on a full-time basis until the Christmas holidays and is perfect for an experienced educator or an enthusiastic NQT looking to make a positive impact on students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities:

•Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).

•Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that meet the national curriculum.

•Assess, track, and report on student progress.

•Provide additional support and guidance where needed to help students achieve their potential.

•Collaborate with other staff members and contribute to the Science department.

Requirements:

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

•A degree in Science or a related field.

•Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3/KS4).

•Strong classroom management skills.

•A passion for inspiring young learners.

•Ability to start immediately and commit until Christmas.
