The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Health & Social Care Teacher or Instructor to join a school in Brentwood on a part-time (0.6) basis. This role is initially to cover a sickness absence but has the potential to be extended.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Health & Social Care lessons to secondary school students
• Support and guide students in their learning and understanding of the subject
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to ensure success
• Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/instructor experience in Health & Social Care
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Health & Social Care
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to step into a part-time role at short notice
