Are you a passionate and creative Drama Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of performers?
Local Education is supporting a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Rochford, Essex in their search for a talented Drama Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2025. This is a full-time, fixed-term position, ideal for a dynamic educator who is enthusiastic about delivering exciting and engaging drama lessons.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Drama to students across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan and deliver creative lessons that inspire confidence and collaboration

Prepare students for practical assessments and school performances

Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, including productions and clubs

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

Maintain high expectations in both academic and practical settings
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism or strong experience in teaching Drama at secondary level

Excellent classroom presence and the ability to motivate learners

Passion for performance, creativity, and student development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
