Job Title: Permanent Sociology Teacher

Location: Billericay, Essex

Start Date: January 2025

Salary: £28,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

 

Our recruitment agency is excited to be working with a leading secondary school in Billericay, Essex, to find a passionate and dedicated Sociology Teacher for a permanent position starting in January 2025.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons across KS4 and KS5.

•Inspire and engage students to achieve their full potential in Sociology.

•Develop schemes of work and assessment plans in line with the curriculum.

•Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.

•Work collaboratively with the Social Sciences department and contribute to the wider school community.

 

Key Requirements:

 

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

•Experience teaching Sociology at KS4 and KS5 (A-level).

•Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology.

•Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.

•Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to the wider school environment.
