School Nurse – Full Time

Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? We are working with a well-established and nurturing SEN school in Barking that is seeking a full-time School Nurse to join their supportive team.

About the Role:
As the School Nurse, you will play a key role in promoting the physical and emotional wellbeing of students with a range of special educational needs. You will provide high-quality healthcare support, manage care plans, administer medication, and act as a vital point of contact for staff, parents, and external healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer first aid and manage medical emergencies
• Support pupils with complex medical needs and disabilities
• Maintain and update individual healthcare plans
• Liaise with families, GPs, and external health services
• Promote health education and wellbeing across the school
• Ensure all health and safety policies are followed

Requirements:
• Qualified RGN or RSCN with current NMC registration
• Previous experience working with children or in a school/SEN setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• A calm, caring, and professional approach
