Job Title: PE Teacher (Temporary, Ongoing)

Salary: £140 - £250 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are a well-established supply agency based in Essex, currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a local secondary school on a temporary and ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and promote physical well-being. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•Plan, prepare, and deliver effective PE lessons to students in line with the curriculum.

•Assess and track students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their potential.

•Encourage active participation and a positive attitude towards physical fitness and sport.

•Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

•Collaborate with other staff members to support the school’s wider aims and objectives.

 

Requirements:

 

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

•Experience teaching PE at the secondary level is preferred, but NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply.

•A passion for sports and physical education, with a commitment to promoting health and well-being.

•Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.

•Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
