The Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher or Instructor to join a school in Basildon on a temporary basis. This role is initially to cover sickness absence but has the potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to secondary school students
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/instructor experience
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to step into the role at short notice
