We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History & Humanities Teacher to join a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in the Grays area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity starting from September 2025.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History and across the Humanities curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.

  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and tailor support to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including curriculum development and enrichment activities.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS.

  • Experience delivering History and ideally some Geography or RE content.

  • A passion for inspiring young learners and making Humanities subjects relevant and exciting.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
