The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

Contribute to curriculum development, practical learning, and extra-curricular projects

Promote innovation, creativity, and critical thinking in a supportive classroom environment

Assess, monitor and report on student progress, supporting pupils of all abilities

Work collaboratively with colleagues in a well-resourced and forward-thinking department
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching DT at secondary level (KS3–KS4)

Strong subject knowledge across design disciplines – resistant materials, product design, or similar

Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills

A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
