Job Title: Art Teacher (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Colchester, Essex

Contract: Two Terms (January 2025 - July 2025)

Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Our client, a thriving secondary school located near Colchester, is seeking a dedicated and inspirational Art Teacher to join their team for a two-term fixed contract starting in January 2025.

About the Role:

As an Art Teacher, you will inspire and engage students across KS3 and KS4, fostering creativity and a love for the subject. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, preparing students for their GCSEs, and creating a supportive and encouraging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic art lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and artistic expression.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
  • A genuine passion for art and education.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Ability to commit to a fixed-term contract starting January 2025 through to July 2025.
