An outstanding secondary school in Basildon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and high-achieving school environment, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 & KS4.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Philosophy, History, and Social Sciences
- Inspire and engage students, fostering a love for Humanities subjects
- Monitor student progress, providing tailored support to ensure academic success
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations with structured and effective teaching strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Philosophy, History, Social Sciences, or a combination
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
- Passion for Humanities subjects and a commitment to student development
