About the Role:
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school on Canvey Island, which is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled MFL Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students in developing language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication.This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated MFL department with a focus on delivering engaging lessons and achieving strong student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students
Prepare pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
Create a supportive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Contribute to the ongoing development of the MFL curriculum and resources
Monitor student progress and provide timely interventions and support
Engage in school-wide activities and foster a passion for languages

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A collaborative and positive approach to teaching and learning
