About the Role:
We are working with a vibrant and creative secondary school in Grays that is seeking a talented Art Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture creativity in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons, support students in developing their artistic skills and confidence, and contribute to the continued growth of a well-established Art department.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and teach Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Prepare students for GCSE Art assessments and coursework
Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment
Support the development of students’ creative and critical thinking skills
Contribute to the wider school culture through displays, exhibitions and enrichment activities
Assess, track and report on student progress

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creativity
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A supportive and student-focused approach to teaching
