Local Education is working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in East London, currently seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Encourage participation in physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles

Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE PE (if applicable)

Organise and support extracurricular clubs, competitions, and sports days

Create a positive and respectful learning atmosphere for all students

Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and varied PE curriculum
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting (or strong placement references)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A genuine passion for sport and education

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
