Local Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Epping Forest, Essex, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive and inclusive school environment. You’ll be joining a strong, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality education and nurturing the whole child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed

  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular life

  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers

  • A strong understanding of primary curriculum and pedagogy

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills

  • A passion for education and a commitment to pupil development

  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply
