Key Stage 3 Maths Teacher – Basildon

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to inspire young learners?Local Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Basildon that is seeking a Key Stage 3 Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the mathematical journey of students and help them develop confidence in the subject.

About the Role:
• Position: Key Stage 3 Maths Teacher
• Location: Basildon, Essex
• Start Date: As soon as possible

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students, ensuring they build strong numeracy skills and a love for mathematics. The school is looking for a teacher who can create interactive and inspiring lessons that cater to different learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the Key Stage 3 curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND.
• Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and leadership to enhance student learning.
• Prepare students for assessments and help build their confidence in Maths.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 level.
• Be passionate about helping students develop their problem-solving and numeracy skills.
• Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire learners.
