Key Stage 3 English Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent – Basildon

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new opportunity? A well-respected school in Basildon is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 3 English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from April 2025.

About the Role:
• Position: Key Stage 3 English Teacher
• Location: Basildon, Essex
• Contract: Full-time, Permanent
• Start Date: April 2025
• Key Stage: 3 (Years 7-9)

This is an exciting opportunity to engage and inspire KS3 students, fostering a love for English Literature and Language while laying strong foundations for their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 students.
• Encourage a love for reading and writing, developing students’ literacy and analytical skills.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes active participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching English at Key Stage 3.
• Be passionate about English education, with a creative and engaging approach to teaching.
• Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
• Be committed to professional development and contributing to a supportive school environment.
