Maths Specialist – Alternative Provision School

We’re working with a forward-thinking Alternative Provision school in Essex that is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who may not thrive in mainstream education but have huge potential when given the right support.

About the Role:
• Delivering Maths lessons tailored to small groups or individual learners
• Supporting students with a range of needs, including social, emotional and behavioural challenges
• Creating engaging, accessible and differentiated lessons
• Working collaboratively with a team of experienced and supportive staff
• Helping to re-engage learners and build confidence in their abilities

Ideal Candidate:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience in an alternative or SEN setting
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths
• A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
• Ability to build strong relationships and support students with complex needs
