About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French & Spanish Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Grays on a permanent basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) teaching to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring a love for languages and supporting academic progress.The successful candidate will teach both French and Spanish, plan engaging lessons, and play a key role in preparing students for their GCSEs, while contributing to the positive and collaborative culture within the MFL department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress in line with school expectations
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and departmental goals
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
• Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for language teaching
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
