Local Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Epping Forest, Essex, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their career in a supportive and inclusive school environment. You’ll be joining a strong, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality education and nurturing the whole child.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support where needed

Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular life

Uphold the school’s values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers

A strong understanding of primary curriculum and pedagogy

Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills

A passion for education and a commitment to pupil development

Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply
